FAQ
  • What is "C.S.A." ?"
C.S.A. stands for Community Supported Agriculture.
  • What does being a CSA member mean to me?
Members share the risks and benefits of food production with the farmer. A member buys a share of the farm’s production before each growing season and in return, they receive a weekly distribution of the farm’s bounty throughout the season.
  • How does this benefit the farmer?
The farmer receives advance working capital giving the farmer the financial security to invest back into the farm to enhance growth and production.
  • How much food will I get?
It all depends on what we harvest however you will never be disappointed!
  • Where does the produce come from?
All produce provided to members will be grown only on our farm.
  • What kind of produce will we get?
Your share will include conventional and some non-conventional varieties of produce. Please feel free to visit our Facebook and Instagram pages to get an idea of last year’s offerings. Try something different!
  • Am I allowed to visit the farm?
We absolutely encourage all of our members to visit the farm at any time, just give Farmer Dan a head’s up that you want to visit.
  • Do I have to work on the farm?
Some CSA memberships require volunteer. We do not require volunteer hours. However, we encourage and you will go home with extra produce!
  • How many weeks are in the season?
We are striving for a 16-week season, weather dependent, from July to October.
  • Are pickup dates flexible?
We ask that you choose a pickup day on the application form and stick to that day throughout the season. If you cannot make your pickup that week, we will try to make arrangements with you but in the height of the season this may not be possible. We are now offering a gift card benefit if you are unable to commit to a specific day and location. Any shares that are not picked up will considered forfeit.

By becoming a CSA member with The Napolitano Family Farm, you will have access to produce
that is picked within 48 hours of distribution and is grown without the use of conventional
pesticides, herbicides, or manure. You will be exposed to new varieties of vegetables that are
ripe with flavor, vitamins and antioxidants to promote a healthier lifestyle.

You will Know Where Your Food Comes From.
